Back from the Mountain

Last night I came back from the Rhodopes mountain - we had a great week hiking up there. We set off on 14 August, went by bus to Narechenski Bani and the adventure started from there. Every day we got up at 7.30, had breakfast and hiked for hours - sometimes 8, sometimes 9 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday around 5 hours. Sometimes we got lost, sometimes we didn't. But we had a lot of fun. Spontaneous, pure, real fun. There was no guide, just we and the Nature - grass, woods, greenery, sheep, herbs - beautiful feeling. Our hiking ended in Trigrad - my first time there - unforgettable scenery.

Now I am back and the Harmony which I felt in the mountain is part of me and ready to create new miracles.

The Suggestopedia is a miracle - I am going to make sure it touches more people's lives.

The Suggestopedic course in English starts on 27 September, 5 weeks, every day - great results - because Learning Languages should be Fun.

My First Suggestopedic Performance - WOW

It is 5.30 p.m. I am going to have my exam in the Suggestopedic course in Sliven. I am so excited - all the 7 laws, the Voice, the Emotion behind the words, the music of Mozart, the Theatre performance in the Introduction - all these put together and come alive.

Wow, you know I have been teaching for 6 years but I have always been myself - Denitsa -when I teach. Yes, I have used my imagination quite a lot, but this thing today was ...a real theatre - I was not myself - I was another person. It was beautiful, funny, exciting, surprising.

"All the world's a stage and all the men and women are merely actors" Shakespeare.

He was damn right. And it feels so good.

My "students" and D-r Lozanov were there. They had fun. It was lovely to see them laughing.

D-r Lozanov said " Bravo" and I was so happy..I love this man with all my heart. I admire him for what he has done, for his courage. He has devoted his Life to help people live a Happy Life, free of Stress and full of Joy.

I am very thankful to Vanina, my Suggestopedic teacher for her kindness and patience and love. She told me some little things which made a big difference. I wouldn't have done it without her.

Today is 12 August, 2010 - I am a Suggestopedic Teacher, I feel proud and thankful.

Your Body is a Musical Instrument

Today was a special day..a very special day for me. You know, there are days in your life when you discover things which simply amaze you..and make you experience WONDER.

I felt that today - I am still in Sliven - doing the Suggestopedic course with Vanina and D-r Lozanov. D-r Lozanov is an extraordinary man - he is in his 80s now, has a great sense of humor, he is very supportive and loving man. "You can't teach anybody anything if you don't have Love for him", he says.



So, I did experience Wonder today, and it was because I had my second singing class with Rosi - Rosi, is one of the few great teachers, I have had - I could feel her love - I could feel she wanted me to do it - to let my voice come out anf flow. And it happened - I have never heard my voice like that before. A few tricks - posture, imagery, and breathing and a new world opens up.

Thank you Rosi - you made me discover something new and beautiful about me.

Suggestopedia - 3 and 4 part

I have been in Sliven for the last 3 days. I am here doing a course in Suggestopedia. It is an absolutely fascinating way to learn almost anything. However, Suggestopedia has been particularly used for learning languages. It is based on 7 laws. The first time I heard about them, 2 moths ago I was imressed. I wanted more people in Bulgartia to learn about it. That's why I asked my friend Bobby to record me talking about them. And he did:

The Suggestopedic method has 4 parts: Introduction, Concert Session, Elaboration and Presentation. The Suggestopedic method is also known as a method for opening up our Reserves and hence Suggestopedia = Reservopedia.

Today we have been practicing the Concert Session - the language textbook is a play and we have been practicing reading the Introduction of the Play with specific intonation, with classical music playing in the backgropund. It was lovely, beautiful emotion.

There is a girl I met here at the course - Villy, she is great - she read in German - I fell in love with this language for the first time in my life.
