Beauty is all Around

My breath was taken away today. I am in Hotnica now. I small village, 18 km far from Veliko Tyrnovo. I have been here for a few days. Such relaxation. Me, a friend, 5 dogs and 3 cats. We are alone in a small house. We haven't been out much - only go out to take the dogs for a walk. But today we went to a place, which turned out to be very special - actually it is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in my life - the Waterfall Ecopath in Hotnica. See for yourself:







I was so happy being part of this beauty this afternoon. I am even happier because it is my friend Dessy's father - Peter Petrov who organised and built that Ecopath with his team. I undestood he has built 10 Ecopaths altogether in Bulgaria to help the Rural tourism in the regions.

I have known Peter - Dessy's father for years, but it is now that I really admire and appreciate what he has done for these regions. Why? Because I was part of this Beauty and it made my day yesterday.

I want to admit, however, I feel sad, because the local people don't do anything to make this place popular and visited - the label has been stolen, there is some rubbish around.
Such a resourse is there and because of inactivity it will be destroyed in a few years if no one looks after it.

I, personally work with education, and I believe in empowering kids to take the initiative and love our Mother Nature. Once you help a kid develop love and Connection with Nature it will be there for a lifetime. And this kid will be ACTIVE, since he/she already sees him/herself as a part of Nature.

So I have a dream. Will write about it in my blog soon.
